1. Measure Your Existing Lock, Write Down the Details.
Step #1 Measure Your Backset.
Step #2 Measure Your "PZ"
Step #3 Measure Your Door Panel Thickness.
Step #4 Measure Your Deadbolt Throw
2. What Type of Door Lock Do You Need? “2 Point In-active Lock”, “3 Point Lock”, “3 Point Edge Only Lock Points” or “5 Point Lock”?
(A) - 2 Point In-Active Door Lock
Locks wih Top and bottom Shootbolts Only. LOCKS INTO THE FRAME HEADER & SILL.
(B) - Single Point Active Door Lock
Locks At Deadbolt Only.
(C) - 3 Point Active Door Lock
Locks with Deadbolt and Top & Bottom Shootbolts. NO OTHER EDGE LOCKING POINTS.
(D) - 3 Point "Edge Locking"
Locks on side Edge of the Door Panel Only. NO TOP OR BOTTOM SHOOTBOLTS.
(E) - 5 Point Lock
Locks with Deadbolt and Top & Bottom Shootbolts & Side Edge Locking Points.
3. Measure Your Handle Height & Edge Locking Points, If you have them.
What is the Measurement to the first Edge Locking Point from the bottom of the door panel Up to the center of the Lower Edge Locking Point?
Measure the Handle Height from the bottom of the door panel to the Handle Height Line?
What is the Measurement to the first Edge Locking Point from the bottom of the door panel Up to the center of the Upper Edge Locking Point?

This lock is for a Caradco 4101341 active door. Also works on Jeld-wen active French doors.
Caradco 4101341 Inactive Lock
This lock is for the in-active panel on a double French door.
PGT 750 Series Concealed Door Lock
This lock is a concealed lock that fits inside of a PGT 750 series French door. It has a top and bottom coupler for 5/16″ threaded rods. Lock is activated by lifting the lever handle which engages the top and bottom rods into the frame header and sill. Lock has a 2 3/8″ Backset, Handle below dead bolt.
