1. Measure Your Existing Lock, Write Down the Details.
Step #1 Measure Your Backset.
Step #2 Measure Your "PZ"
Step #3 Measure Your Door Panel Thickness.
Step #4 Measure Your Deadbolt Throw
2. What Type of Door Lock Do You Need?  “2 Point In-active Lock”,  “3 Point Lock”,  “3 Point Edge Only Lock Points” or  “5 Point Lock”?
(A) - 2 Point In-Active Door Lock
Locks wih Top and bottom Shootbolts Only. LOCKS INTO THE FRAME HEADER & SILL.
(B) - Single Point Active Door Lock
Locks At Deadbolt Only.
(C) - 3 Point Active Door Lock
Locks with Deadbolt and Top & Bottom Shootbolts. NO OTHER EDGE LOCKING POINTS.
(D) - 3 Point "Edge Locking"
Locks on side Edge of the Door Panel Only. NO TOP OR BOTTOM SHOOTBOLTS.
(E) - 5 Point Lock
Locks with Deadbolt and Top & Bottom Shootbolts & Side Edge Locking Points.
3. Measure Your Handle Height & Edge Locking Points, If you have them.
What is the Measurement to the first Edge Locking Point from the bottom of the door panel Up to the center of the Lower Edge Locking Point?
Measure the Handle Height from the bottom of the door panel to the Handle Height Line?
What is the Measurement to the first Edge Locking Point from the bottom of the door panel Up to the center of the Upper Edge Locking Point?
4. What Type of "Edge Locking Points" Do You Have, If Any?

Hoppe Active Panel Locks - Manual Activation
Hoppe Replacement Gearboxes - For HLS-9000 ONLY
Gearboxes to repair Hoppe HLS-9000 multipoint door Locks that currently have a small mis-handling device wedge between the latch and the deadbolt.
*** YOU MUST KNOW THE FOLLOWING, IN ORDER FOR A HOPPE GEARBOX REPLACEMENT TO WORK ON YOUR CURRENT HOPPE MULTIPOINT LOCK.**
1. Your current lock MUST be a HOPPE brand Lock.
2. It Must be a Multi-point Lock.
3. Lever handle Must be ABOVE key / thumb turn.
4. Current lock MUST have a "Mis-Handling" device wedge
in between the striker latch and dead bolt, on the edge of the door. VERY IMPORTANT!
5. Know your "Backset" Measurement. This is the measurement
from the edge of the door to the center of handle post.
6. Dead bolt throw measurement, 1/2" or 1"?
Hoppe Gearbox only, 35mm ( 1 3/8″ ) Backset with a 1″ deadbolt. Replaces all Hoppe HS-9000 multipoint gear boxes on existing locks with a ” Mis-Handling /Dead Latch” feature just above the deadbolt
Hoppe Gearbox only, 45mm ( 1 3/4″ ) Backset with a 1″ deadbolt. Replaces all Hoppe HS-9000 multipoint gear boxes on existing locks with a ” Mis-Handling /Dead Latch” feature just above the deadbolt
Hoppe Gearbox only, 60mm ( 2 3/8″ ) Backset with a 1″ deadbolt. Replaces all Hoppe HS-9000 multipoint gear boxes on existing locks with a ” Mis-Handling /Dead Latch” feature just above the deadbolt
Hoppe Gearbox only, 70mm ( 2 3/4″ ) Backset with a 1″ deadbolt. Replaces all Hoppe HS-9000 multipoint gear boxes on existing locks with a ” Mis-Handling /Dead Latch” feature just above the deadbolt.
Hoppe Single Point Locks -HLS-9000
Hoppe Single point locks. Locks only at the deadbolt. . Does not require lifting of the handle to lock, NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR MULTIPOINT GEARBOX.

This type of automatic tongue lock activates it’s side edge tongue locking point when the door is closed. Just turn the thumb turn to lock the door. Lever handle does not have to be lifted to activate locking points, Only available in 35mm and 45mm backsets. Not available with shootbolts.
Top extensions for automatic tongue locks, Trimmable for a variety of door heights.Â
This type of automatic roller pin lock activates it’s side edge roller pin locking point when the door is closed. Just turn the thumb turn to lock the door. Lever handle does not have to be lifted to activate locking points, Only available in 35mm and 45mm bacskets. Not available with shootbolts.

36" Handle Height, , Shootbolt only Locking Points
2 Point In-Active Door Lock- Top / Bottom Shootbolts Only
For In-active 2 Point Locks with a handle height of exactly 36″ from the bottom the the door panel up to the center of the handle.
For In-active 2 Point Locks with a handle height between 34 1/14″ to 38 1/8″. This Lock body requires a Lower Extension and cover plate. Add a Top extension for a complete locking system.

This lock is for a Caradco 4101341 active door. Also works on Jeld-wen active French doors.
This lock is for the in-active panel on a double French door.Â
This lock is a concealed lock that fits inside of a PGT 750 series French door. It has a top and bottom coupler for 5/16″ threaded rods. Lock is activated by lifting the lever handle which engages the top and bottom rods into the frame header and sill. Lock has a 2 3/8″ Backset, Handle below dead bolt.
